This past week, Red Box employees visited Casa Hogar in Cabo San Lucas, an orphanage for children between the ages of 4 and 18. Employees of Red Box visit Casa Hogar every year donating cloths, food, hygiene supplies, and most importantly their time. Growing up in an orphanage cannot be easy and spending quality time with these children helps them develop their social and emotional skills. Our volunteers this year played basketball and hung out just talking about life with some of the kids who live there at Casa Hogar; someone to talk with and listen to them helps these kids feel like they are not alone and provides them with needed mentorship. Casa Hogar is an excellent program that helps support children in need; Red Box will continue to work with them for years to come. Next year we plan to include building maintenance and bringing in more personnel to help these children in need. Not everyone can visit their location, but you can still make a difference. If you are interested in donating to Casa Hogar please visit their donation page at http://www.casahogarcabo.com/donate/ it is easy to donate online by shopping their Amazon wish list for items that their kids need. If you need assistance, reach out to us and we would be happy to point you in the right direction – for Los Cabos kids in need.
